The Amex Platinum lists $2,994 in statement credits against an $895 annual fee (as of 2026), but the honest number is how much you will actually use. Uncheck the credits you would not use and adjust any value, and the tool shows what you would really capture against the fee. Everything runs in your browser. How to use the tracker
Check a credit off when the statement credit has actually posted, not when you made the purchase. Amex often takes a full billing cycle to apply one, and marking it early is the most common way people end up thinking they captured more value than they did.
The total at the bottom is a ceiling, not a forecast. It assumes you use every credit in full, in the right category, inside its own reset window. Most people do not, and that is fine. The number that matters is your total against the annual fee, so if you are tracking well under the fee by the tenth month, that is the signal to either plan the remaining credits deliberately or think about a downgrade.
Watch the reset cadence, because it is not uniform. Some credits reset monthly, some by half year, and some on the calendar year rather than your cardmember year. A monthly credit you skip is gone at the end of that month and does not roll forward.
