IHG Credit Cards: All 4 Chase Cards Compared for 2026

Quick answer

Chase issues 4 IHG One Rewards credit cards: the IHG One Rewards Credit Card with no annual fee, the Premier at $150, the Business card at $200 and the new Premier Select at $350. The Premier Select and the Business card give automatic Platinum Elite, the Premier gives Gold Elite and the no-fee card gives Silver Elite, and the Anniversary Free Night is worth up to 60,000 points on the Premier Select, up to 50,000 on the Premier and Business cards, and nothing on the no-fee card. Chase relaunched the line on October 1, 2026; existing cardmembers get a notice in October with their dates, and their annual fees change in 2027. Confirm the current welcome offer at Chase.

Every figure below comes from Chase’s card pages and its October 1, 2026 press release, checked October 5, 2026. Points on IHG stays are Chase’s “up to” totals: the card’s own rate, plus up to 10x that IHG pays every member, plus the bonus for the status the card gives.

All 4 cards also list Chase’s complimentary DashPass offer, and the 3 personal cards list up to $10 a month at Instacart, both through 2027.

Which IHG card fits you

IHG One Rewards Credit Card, $0. For someone who stays at IHG a few nights a year and wants Silver Elite and 3x on dining, groceries and gas at no cost. It has no Free Night, and from 2027 its fourth night free needs $5,000 of purchases in the calendar year.

Premier, $150. The default for most IHG guests. A Free Night worth up to 50,000 points and the $100 airline credit can cover the fee on their own, and Gold Elite adds late check-out, subject to availability. The full breakdown is in the IHG Premier benefits guide.

Business, $200. For business owners. It is the cheapest card with automatic Platinum Elite, $150 a year less than the Premier Select, and it adds 5x on social media and search engine advertising and up to $100 a year for Expensify.

Premier Select, $350. For guests who stay at IHG often enough to use $300 of Food and Beverage Rewards. It adds 20 Elite Night Credits a year, a 60,000-point Free Night, 6x on dining and all other travel, and Diamond Elite at $25,000 of spending, the lowest Diamond threshold of the 4 cards.

The fee math

Premier. A Free Night at a hotel charging $250 a night plus the $100 airline credit returns $350 against the $150 fee, before any Food and Beverage Rewards.

Premier Select against the Premier. The Premier Select costs $200 more. It adds $200 more in Food and Beverage Rewards ($300 against $100), $100 more in airline credit ($200 against $100), 10,000 more points of Free Night cap and Platinum Elite in place of Gold. Use both bigger credits in full and the extra $300 covers the $200 difference. Use neither and the step up costs $200 a year for status and a bigger night.

Business against the Premier. The Business card costs $50 more, trades the United TravelBank cash for the Expensify credit, and moves automatic status from Gold Elite to Platinum Elite.

No-fee card. It earns 3x in its categories and 2x on everything else, and a 4-night award stay with the fourth night free saves 25% of the points once you meet the $5,000 spending rule. The points side is covered in IHG One Rewards sweet spots.

What changes for existing cardmembers

Chase says existing IHG cardmembers are being notified in October 2026 with the new and enhanced benefits and the effective date for each one, and that annual fees will be adjusted in 2027. Chase has not published a single date for everyone, so your notice is the document that sets your timing. 2 cards were renamed:

Card before October 1, 2026 Card now Annual fee for new cardmembers
IHG One Rewards Traveler Card IHG One Rewards Credit Card $0
IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card Same name $150 (it was $99)
IHG One Rewards Premier Business Card IHG One Rewards Business Credit Card $200
None IHG One Rewards Premier Select Credit Card $350

The fourth night free changes most on the no-fee card. Chase’s page says that starting in 2027 it needs $5,000 of purchases in a calendar year, and then lasts for the rest of that year and the next. If you track renewals, add the 2027 fee change to your annual fee calendar.

What cardmembers are reporting from their notices. Per Frequent Miler (October 1, 2026) and 10xtravel, existing Premier cardmembers keep Platinum Elite through the end of 2027 and move from $99 to $150 at their 2027 renewal; renewals between October 1 and December 31, 2026 still bill $99. The legacy IHG One Rewards Select card, the old IHG Rewards Club Select that has been closed to new applicants and product changes since 2018, goes from $49 to $99 at its 2027 anniversary and keeps Platinum Elite, per Frequent Miler (October 4, 2026). Reports differ on whether its free night rises to 50,000 points, so check your notice.

Chase 5/24 and holding more than one

All 4 are Chase cards. Chase does not publish a 5/24 rule; applicants report that Chase declines most people who opened 5 or more personal cards in the past 24 months, and that business cards such as the IHG Business card do not add to that count but still need you under it. The details are in the Chase 5/24 rule guide.

Chase’s card pages set different eligibility rules, as read on October 5, 2026:

  • IHG One Rewards Credit Card and Premier: available if you have no personal IHG One Rewards card and have not received a new-cardmember bonus on one in the last 24 months. Business cards do not count against this.
  • Premier Select: available if you do not have the Premier Select and have not received its new-cardmember bonus in the past 24 months.
  • Business: the card page shows no such line; check the offer details before you apply.

Our reading of that wording: the Premier Select rule names only itself, while the Premier and no-fee rules exclude anyone who holds any personal IHG card. Someone who wants both the Premier and the Premier Select would apply for the Premier first. Confirm this in the offer terms before you apply.

Where this comes from. Fees, earning rates, status, Elite Night Credits, Free Night caps, credits and eligibility rules are from Chase’s press release of October 1, 2026 and each card’s page on creditcards.chase.com, which you can reach from the links in that release. The Premier’s earlier $99 fee is from this site’s Premier guide before the relaunch. The 5/24 behavior comes from applicant reports. Welcome offers are left out on purpose; confirm the current one at Chase. Checked October 5, 2026. Updated October 21, 2026: Existing-cardmember timing from Chase’s October 1, 2026 release; Premier and legacy Select details as reported by Frequent Miler (October 1 and 4, 2026) and 10xtravel.

FAQ

What IHG credit cards does Chase offer?

4: the IHG One Rewards Credit Card with no annual fee, the Premier at $150, the Business card at $200 and the Premier Select at $350, which launched on October 1, 2026. Confirm the current welcome offer at Chase.

Which IHG credit card gives Platinum Elite status?

The Premier Select and the Business card give Platinum Elite automatically. The Premier gives Gold Elite and moves you to Platinum Elite in any calendar year you spend $15,000 on it.

Is the IHG Premier Select worth the $350 fee?

If you would use the full $300 in Food and Beverage Rewards and the $200 airline credit, the credits alone return $500 against the $350 fee, before the 60,000-point Free Night. If you stay at IHG only a few nights a year, the $150 Premier is the better buy.

Do all IHG cards get the fourth night free?

The Premier, Business and Premier Select give a fourth Reward Night free when you redeem points for 4 consecutive nights at one IHG hotel. Starting in 2027, the no-fee card unlocks it after $5,000 of purchases in a calendar year.

When do the changes reach existing IHG cardmembers?

Chase says existing cardmembers are notified in October 2026 with the effective date for each change, and that annual fees will be adjusted in 2027. Your notice has your dates.

Do IHG cards count toward Chase 5/24?

Applicants report that the 3 personal IHG cards add to your 5/24 count and that the Business card does not. Chase does not publish the rule, and applicants report that all 4 cards still need you to be under 5/24 to be approved.
