The Amex Business Platinum charges an $895 annual fee and returns it through business travel credits and 5x on flights and prepaid hotels, plus the widest lounge access. It fits business owners who travel and will use the Dell, airline, and hotel credits. It earns Membership Rewards that transfer to the same partners as the personal Platinum. Figures are as of 2026; confirm current terms at American Express.

| Airline fee | $200 | Incidental fees on one airline you select |
| Dell | $150 plus $1,000 | $150 in credits, plus a $1,000 credit after $5,000 in Dell spend |
| CLEAR Plus | $219 | CLEAR membership |
| Hilton | $200 | Eligible Hilton purchases |
New in October 2026. From October 22, 2026, the card includes a free ZO by Tishman Speyer membership: unlimited Clubhouse access, 4 Studio day passes a month and up to $500 a year in credits for event space or a Dining Club membership, activated in the ZO app (reported by Doctor of Credit and The Points Guy). The cruise benefit became the Cruise & Yacht Collection the same day, with $100 to $300 in onboard credit on sailings of 5 nights or more, and Lufthansa lounges left the lounge network on October 1, 2026.
The fee math
The $895 fee is aimed at businesses that travel and buy technology. A company that books flights and hotels through Amex Travel, uses the Dell and airline credits, and values lounge access can clear the fee easily; a small business that will not use those credits should not pay it. Points transfer to Amex airline and hotel partners.
Who it fits and who it does not
It fits business owners who travel often and spend on technology and business services. It does not fit a small business with light travel, where the Chase Ink Business Preferred at $95 is a better value. Pair it with a no-fee business card for everyday spend.
